About Us


Solid Financial Solutions (SFS) was launched in 2005, with the mission to build relationships developed on trust; to provide value to our clients and their employees by providing the best effective products; and to help clients to make the right decisions for their business, group, and individual needs.  SFS is associated with top ranked insurance companies to provide our clients with the best product, service, and price available through a variety of insurance carriers.  SFS can assist their clients, with a toll free number, in all manner of insurance claims.  SFS works at the model of educating our clients, not just selling products, to aid in their own decision-making process.  This also includes on-site training for employer groups.  SFS provides a lifetime relationship of complete and personal service.  SFS has also built a system for agents to find the perfect home to be able to service their clients in all the best ways possible.

The senior staff have more than 30 years of sales and experience in the life and health fields, for both individual and worksite.  From health to medicare, life to long term care, cancer to accident, and so on, we have the expertise to provide the plans and products that best fits your needs and goals.

 

 

 

      


                                          

Ben Maser - President and CEO

 

Ben's goal is to aid clients in the significance of insurance as well as educate on specific products and their relevance.  He understands the importance of structuring a well-rounded portfolio of benefits, addressing the risks associated with today’s markets, and prepares his clients for retirement through vital planning.  He believes that assisting clients with their insurance is not about sales, but about service.  He focuses on always keeping contact with his clients.

Ben had enjoyed many successful years in the insurance business as an independent agent; however, the dream of building an agency and helping others to be prosperous was his passion.  He wanted to provide a place where agents can have access to amazing products, learn to provide excellence in service to their clients, and to acquire the training and support that is crucial to becoming successful. As a result of his perseverance, Solid Financial Solutions was established.

When Ben is not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his beautiful wife, Marisa.


 

 

                       Michael Graham - Vice President Health and Supplemental

         Michael joined Ben in 2005 to build Solid Financial Solutions, Inc. He has a passion to serve people and provide solutions to client's insurance needs. After spending the first several years of his insurance career with captive companies offering limited products, Michael was drawn to becoming independent allowing the opportunity to provide the "best of the best" products and becoming more of a consultant to the clients he serves. Michael felt a duty to create an agency that could tailor benefits specifically to the client. He believes in trust, confidence, values and integrity.


          Michael focuses in work site benefits serving companies by tailoring their health and life products. He focuses on strategic planning and providing resources for companies to reduce costs while enhancing benefits to attract and retain valuable employees. He is devoted to recruiting and training new agents who are team players. He concentrates on their success and is faithful to help them pursue their business endeavors.


           Outside of the office, Michael is a dedicated father to five boys and steadfast husband to his wife, Marlena.

 

 

                                                Andrew Birdsell - Senior Division President

        Andy began in the insurance industry in 2007 and has served at a couple large captive companies as an agent and as an agent trainer.  He specializes in Medicare planning and is well-versed in senior market insurance plans and concepts.  Andy likes sharing his concepts and ideas with his valued clients and they are like family to him.  He loves training new agents how to offer needs-based insurance solutions through a thorough fact-finding process that helps prospective and current members identify gaps and/or opportunities in their retirement planning.  Andy has a habit of ‘spilling the beans,’ and shares with his members some of the high-pressure techniques that are common in this competitive industry and strives to offer only what is needed for his clients.

 

        He lives in the country with his lovely wife and two children and spends his spare time and weekends with his church family, or hauling home classic cars and trucks to work on.  He has an office at our Hutchinson location, but considers his main office to be at his clients’ dining room table.


 

 

Gloriana Manche – Sales Agent

Gloriana is a recent addition to our SFS family. She is excited about her career as our bilingual agent! (Spanish/English) She has served as a legal assistant, a medical assistant and is also a full-time mother to her one year old daughter. We are excited to add her expertise and experience to our growing team. Gloriana cares about her clients and is prepared to make recommendations on your insurance needs. Gloriana is happily married and loves to travel.

 

 

 

                                                  Kim Armstrong - Executive Assistant to CEO Ben Maser

 

       Kim started with Solid Financial Solutions, Inc., in October of 2005.  She is a vital team member managing the office responsibilities to facilitate Ben being out in the field working directly with clients.  Kim has been a valuable resource in making sure the office provides above and beyond service to our clients.  She also administers the accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as the company payroll.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, as well as their children Brooks and Brevin.

 

 

 


                   Misti McLane - Office Manager

 

          Misti has been with Solid Financial Solutions, Inc. since April 2008.  She manages and oversees the operations of the office.  She has been a very important addition to the agency.  She handles the paperwork for the contracting of insurance companies as well as assist the agents with their contracting.  With the constant changing in the industry, she has become an expert in working with the insurance companies.  She also handles commissions and making sure they are matched to the correct agent.

        In her spare time, she enjoys supporting her children William, Olivia and Fiona in their sporting events as well as spending time with her husband, Robert.

 


 

                                         Rebecca Lofland – Receptionist and Assistant to Agents


Rebecca has been with us since May of 2017 and we are happy to call her part of our SFS Family! She has been a resident of Hutchinson for four years and came to us from Garden City. She has four sons that keep her very busy with school activities and sports. She is happily engaged and likes to travel and attend sporting events, movies, races, etc. In her spare time, Rebecca likes to read, crochet, play Sudoku and Mahjong. When you visit Solid Financial, you will see her happy face at our front desk!

 

 

 

 

Nicole Julian – Agent Support Representative


Nicole is spearheading our social media presence and helps organize our office and facilities. Find us on Facebook! She regularly updates our page, monitors and updates our website and is an assistant to Ben Maser. We appreciate her young spirit and her eagerness to learn and expect big things for her in the future as she will evolve and grow with our business.
